I have many happy memories of my time with the Lockerby clan. They all made me so welcome and always had a story to tell or a joke to share. I use them now as a benchmark as to what I believe a family can be like – friends as well as family and I believe Al represented this perfectly. For some reason the thing that stands out most about Al, and I know he was a gentleman, was whilst I was at Greg and Jane's wedding and Al announced to the group that he was trying to work out if I was wearing knickers or not! (I was!) Al was a lovely, lovely guy who will be missed by many. My heart goes out to you all.
