When I think of Al, like Nick, my first thoughts will always be of Christmas at Mill House. He was the minstrel of our group and waiting to hear each year how he would incorporate you into the annual Calypso was always nerve jangling - in a good way. Whether it was organising a Murder Mystery, cajoling me into again singing "Imagine" on the karaoke or simply marveling us with his latest gadget, Uncle Al was ever the entertainer and we loved him for it. I'm sure he and dad are somewhere close to a roaring fire, supping nut brown ale and musing over the Telegraph crossword and talking about Country music. Top bloke.
