I have great memories of Al. He was so warm and optimistic, with an incredible lust for life. He really knew how to have a good time and knew how to be happy, which many people don’t learn in a lifetime. I loved his endless appetite for fun – he never wanted to go to bed, or stop drinking, or stop playing games. He is a great example of how we should all squeeze every bit of fun out of life while we can, as I’m sure he did. Lots of love to all the family during this time. It’s proof of Alan’s unforgettable character that someone like me, who hasn’t seen him for many years, is so saddened by your loss. xxx
