I only met Al a couple of times, but I took to him straight away and could tell he was a good guy from the old school. I like to think I'm a good judge of charactor and I either like someone or I don't. Reading all these tributes have proved me right... what a guy!! He lived life to the full, was a great husband, dad, uncle and friend. He also changed a best mates life (you know who you are). I wish I'd got to know you better Al - rest in peace buddy - we'll all be together again one day. Nobby.
